In Loving Memory of Suzane |
|
Suzane was diagnosed in February, 2003, and became a Pathfinder on January 2, 2004, at the age of 59.

Suzane
Hello everyone,
I first would like to thank everyone who sent me emails about how to find help for my mother with financial and medical assistance. I am sorry I didn't have a chance to reply back as my mother was taken to the hospital. She was put thru a bone scan and a gastro test that I believe were unnecessary.
We were told on monday that she had only days to live and that cancer was throughout her entire liver and throughout her body. She fought for 4 days and finally we lost her this morning at 12:30 am. My sisters and I were all by her side.
As hard as it is to have lost her, I now know she is no longer suffering as she did for the last 2 years. She was the most wonderful mother anyone could ever have. I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words they had for me and the help you all tried to offer me.

Dear Kathy,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother. How wonderful that you and your sisters were able to be with her. I am so glad that you have sisters. Losing a mother creates such a big empty place in our life.
Again, I am very sorry.
Becky

Suzane
It is with great sorrow that I read of yet another IBC sister, Suzane, who has passed on. Her faith and courage will be an inspiration to all of us, and I just know there is yet another IBC angel watching over all of us.
Deepest sympathies,
Anne |

In My Life
There are places I remember
All my life, though some have changed.
Some forever, not for better,
Some have gone and some remain.
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall.
Some are dead and some are living
In my life - I've loved them all.
But of all these friends and lovers,
There is no one compares with you,
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new.
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before,
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life - I love you more.
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before,
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life - I love you more.

'The names listed on this Memorial Site
are those of the extraordinary people
we honor through our own survival.
These beloved men and women
have become the Pathfinders who,
although gone on to another place,
remain with us in spirit.
Each time you see a twinkling light
or a bright shining star,
please celebrate their spirit and memory
for the comfort, strength and love
they brought to each of us.'
